Call to Worship (responsive):
Have you heard the Good News?
I am not here for joy and merriment - today is a day of grieving.
My friend, the amazing has happened. Christ is among us!
How can that be? Our Redeemer was put to death and placed in a tomb.
Yes! But the tomb is empty. Christ has burst the bonds of death!
The impossible has happened. Christ is alive!
Where might I find the Living Christ?
Look around! You will se the Living Christ in the hearts and faces of your friend and neighbour.
Christ is in our midst, revealing the glory of this wondrous Easter Day. Alleluia!
*Passing the Peace of Christ
The peace of Christ be with you......
AND ALSO WITH YOU.
*Opening Prayer (in unison):
Risen Lord and Master,
you know me better than I know myself;
speak and help me to listen;
call me into your life,
That with you I may possess your Father's kingdom.
Give me insight to recognize you
in the moment of your speaking,
and to value the time of your calling.
That through all my days
I may rejoice with you in the power of God,
and receive a share in the glory
of his victory and love.
* RESPONSE: Halle, Halle, Halle
Halle, halle, hallelujah! (x3)
Hallelujah! Hallelujah!
Easter Prayer
God of grace and glory,
by the death and resurrection of your Beloved Child
your reign of wholeness has been unleashed
within our bent and broken world.
Open us to your empowering grace

world-redeeming love;
through the resurrected Christ,
our dignity, our power, and our peace. Amen.
