* CALL TO WORSHIP
God says: Behold, I am doing a new thing! Do you see it?
We are watching!
But do you see it?
We look with excitement.
What do you see?
We see God in our midst healing and loving through us!
Let us worship God!
* INTROIT: Seek Ye First (#356 VU, vs. 1)
Seek ye first the kingdom of God
and God's righteousness,
and all these things shall be added unto you.
Hallelu, hallelujah.
* OPENING PRAYER (in unison):
Long ago some people carried their friend to see Jesus. They went to great effort so that their friend could be healed. Show us, O God, how we can find Jesus. Show us, O God, how we can help others to find Jesus so that everyone can see and receive what they need. Amen
* HYMN: I'm Gonna Live So God Can Use Me #575
PRAYER OF CONFESSION (in unison):
O God, we come to you on this day of sunshine and the glistening white of creation.
We come to you on this day of your hospitality and graciousness.
Yet we confess that we are less than grateful.
We are surrounded by beauty,
but grumble about the cold;
We are welcomed and warned,
but hurts and despair keep us from being open and accepting.
Help us empty our burdens, we pray;
Help us open our hearts to you and one another as we listen for your Word.
Forgive us and renew us, we pray.
In the name of Jesus who came to be one of us.
Amen.

THIS WEEK IN PRAYER
Praying for those who are experiencing the joy and sorrow of organ donation. Those who have had transplants, but the new organ has been rejected
by their body (especially a friend in Arnprior - Shirley). Pray also for those who are living and recovering because of the incredibly important decision
that someone made for the end of their life leaving their body as a gift to bring new life to others. May God bless the families of the donors and the
receivers and give strength and healing to the recipients.

PRE-AUTHORIZED REMITTANCE (P.A.R.) Remember the question raised in our last fall's bulletins that asked: "Are you on PAR?" Well now is the time to get on "PAR"!
" PAR" is an acronym for Pre-Authorized Remittance, a program offered through our National Church office that allows people to support their church through an automatic monthly withdrawal from their bank account or through credit card. Funds collected are forwarded to the local church on the 20th of each month for credit to your record of contributions at the church.
You do not pay any administration costs, but the congregation pays 50 cents per person per month for bank withdrawals and $2.65 for VISA and $2.80 for Master Card.
How do you get involved? Simply by following these simple instructions:
. Decide how much per month you wish to give to local, M&S and other.
. Fill out the Authorization Card (copies are in the pews) and attach a sample cheque marked "Sample" or "Void".
. Return the completed cards through the collection plate or drop them off at the church office.
PAR offers several advantages to contributors:
. You assure regular support to the church in the amount you chose.
. Continued support to the church and the M& S fund even when you are away.
. You avoid "catch up" periods in your givings.
PAR offers advantages to Fraser Road:
. The church receives regular, dependable flow of contributions.
. A reduction in paperwork and bookkeeping.
. Lessens the use of overdraft protection at the bank.
The Finance Committee has decided to implement PAR effective March 1, 2006 if there is interest shown by the congregation. Authorization Cards will be placed in the pews for the whole of February. We would like at least 90 persons to sign up to cover the registration cost of $45.00. Please give this program your prayerful consideration!

For anyone on our Pastoral Charge who is interested in attending the date is Monday, February 20th at 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. Please call the church office and advise if you are attending so we can know numbers.
