* WORDS OF WELCOME/ CALL TO WORSHIP (responsively} The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.
And also with you.
The Lord is our rock and our stronghold.
God is our refuge and the joy of our salvation.
Steadfast love surrounds those who trust in the Lord.
When they call out to God, he answers them, when they turn to him, he is swift to reply.
Exalt the name of God, for the Lord is gracious and kind. He heals the brokenhearted and gives strength to the weary.
Give praise to the Lord for he forgives our iniquity and restores our soul. He leads us in the path of righteousness for his name sake.
* INTROIT: #288 VU: 'Great Is Thy Faithfulness'
1 Great is thy faithfulness, God our Creator;
there is no shadow of turning with thee;
thou changest not, thy compassions, they fail not;
as thou hast been thou forever wilt be.
Great is thy faithfulness! Great is thy faithfulness!
Morning by morning new mercies I see;
all I have needed thy hand hath provided -
great is thy faithfulness, ever to me!

Praise God from whom all blessings flow;
praise God, all creatures high and low;
give thanks to God in love made known:
Creator, Word and Spirit, One.
*PRAYER OF DEDICATION OF GIFTS AND SELF (in unison):
Loving God, through Christ Jesus you have blessed our lives. You continue to draw us closer to you and one another. In response to your gracious care, we offer these gifts and the service of our lives to you. May your name be glorified on account of all that we say and do. Amen.
PRAYERS OF THE PEOPLE
Voice: God of our salvation, we come to you, as the leper came to Jesus, longing to be made clean; longing for healing, longing to be fully united with you and with one another. We seek peace, we seek communion, we seek assurance. Touch us and make us whole. Lord, hear our prayer...
All: ...And in Your Love Answer
Choir: Loving God - help us to proclaim in word and in deed your healing and cleansing love. May we recognize in the faces of those branded by our society as lepers and outcasts the image of Christ and like him reach out to them. Help us to embrace those who are lonely, those who live in fear, those who despair, those who think they are no longer worthy of the care and of the attention and the love of others, and help us to confront with your Word those who cause pain, those who reject, those who seek only their own good.... Lord, touch our world and make it whole. Lord hear our prayer...
All: ...And in Your Love Answer
Leader: Lord, we seek cleansing and healing not just for ourselves, but for all the world. Hear now the particular prayers that we hold up to you for those we love - and for those we would love better... We pray to You for.... Lord hear our prayer....
All: ...And in Your Love Answer
People: Lord God, mercifully receive the prayers of Your people. Help us to see and understand the things we ought to do, and give us grace and power to do them; through Your Son, Christ Jesus our Lord. Amen
THE LORD'S PRAYER
WE GO FORTH IN PRAISE
*HYMN: #506 VU: 'Take My Life And Let It Be'
* COMMISSIONING (in unison):
In the power of the Holy Spirit we now go forth into the world, to fulfil our calling as the people of God, the body of Christ.

PRE-AUTHORIZED REMITTANCE (P.A.R.) Remember the question raised in our last fall's bulletins that asked: "Are you on PAR?" Well now is the time to get on "PAR"!
" PAR" is an acronym for Pre-Authorized Remittance, a program offered through our National Church office that allows people to support their church through an automatic monthly withdrawal from their bank account or through credit card. Funds collected are forwarded to the local church on the 20th of each month for credit to your record of contributions at the church.
You do not pay any administration costs, but the congregation pays 50 cents per person per month for bank withdrawals and $2.65 for VISA and $2.80 for Master Card.
How do you get involved? Simply by following these simple instructions:
. Decide how much per month you wish to give to local, M&S and other.
. Fill out the Authorization Card (copies are in the pews) and attach a sample cheque marked "Sample" or "Void".
. Return the completed cards through the collection plate or drop them off at the church office.
PAR offers several advantages to contributors:
. You assure regular support to the church in the amount you chose.
. Continued support to the church and the M& S fund even when you are away.
. You avoid "catch up" periods in your givings.
PAR offers advantages to Fraser Road:
. The church receives regular, dependable flow of contributions.
. A reduction in paperwork and bookkeeping.
. Lessens the use of overdraft protection at the bank.
The Finance Committee has decided to implement PAR effective March 1, 2006 if there is interest shown by the congregation. Authorization Cards will be placed in the pews for the whole of February. We would like at least 90 persons to sign up to cover the registration cost of $45.00. Please give this program your prayerful consideration!
