in the praise on our lips
there's a sense that God is near.
We are one as we sing,
as we seek, we are found;
and we come needful of God's grace
as we meet, together in this place.
*Call to Worship
Come and travel the road of faith.
We gather as God's people in this ordinary time.
We gather as ordinary people expecting extraordinary things from our God.
We gather knowing that God can do great and unexpected things.
Open yourselves to God's call, God's presence and God's love!
To God be the glory and praise!
*Opening Prayer (in unison):
You are everywhere in in our world, O God;
You are here in our midst, within us and among us.
We gather to worship in prayer and praise, to hear your Word, pray for others, and offer ourselves. May we be enlivened as your active
and loving people and may we leave this place better able to walk in your way. Amen.
